We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a Swiss telemedicine startup and take ownership of building a modern SaaS product from the ground up. You will lead both the frontend and backend, ensuring the product is fast, reliable, and scalable.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Proven experience with React and building responsive UIs with clean component architecture and great UX
- Solid backend experience with Node.js/Next.js (or similar) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase is a plus)
- Experience designing secure APIs and implementing role-based permissions
- Familiarity with payment system integrations (Stripe, Paddle), third-party APIs, and webhooks
- Experience with CI/CD, testing, and performance optimisation
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Experience with SaaS product architecture development
Your tasks:
- Architect, build, and ship core features of a SaaS product
- Lead both frontend and backend development
- Ensure speed, reliability, scalability, and security
- Set up CI/CD pipelines, implement testing strategy, optimise performance
- Collaborate closely with the product team to align technical and product goals
